Well, I haven't been selling quite as much on eBay since we moved from our home to the small apartment. This past week was the first time I listed anything for several months. I had a Gucci tote and some golf clubs that were just taking up space and I was completely broke, so I finally got off my lazy butt and listed the items. I have 1 auction left, but it looks like my sales will be over $300.00, so I'm really pleased since I didn't really have more than a $20 personal investment in the items.
Today while taking the kids to register them for school, I passed several yard sale signs, and I was getting that itch. I only had $25.00 and I really didn't need to spend it, but hey, it's an investment right? I was over by McGavock High School, and I've always loved that area of town, the older homes on the nice large lots. I only stopped at one, and I found several great things to sell on eBay. Mostly it was Chico's clothing items, which have always been big sellers for me in the past. They had several more Chico's items I didn't purchase that were too dated, but the Travelers always do well, and the striped was very nice and classic. I also found a really cool brooch. The clothes were a $1 a piece, and the brooch was $10 bucks, but I asked if they would take less, so I got it for $5. Here's a picture of my finds, I spent $14, I got 1 shirt for me 2 outfits for Norah, 2 Chico's outfits and a Chico's shirt and the pretty brooch to sell on eBay. After I get them posted I'll post a link so you can watch the auctions progress.
